Jan. 19 At approximately 9:23 a.m., Officer Ryan Churchwell conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 23, and arrested the driver, 39-year-old Arpita Gupta of Lafayette, on a warrant out of Kinnelon Borough Court in the amount of $1,200. She was subsequently released after posting bail pending a new court date in Kinnelon Court. Jan. 17 At approximately 7:05 p.m. Patrolmen Seamus Geddis and William Grrissom of the Franklin Police responded to a residence in Hamburg to attempt to serve a warrant. Officer Andrew Chase of the Hamburg Police Department assisted the officers. Further investigation led to the arrest of 49-year-old Ruby Wehdeking on warrant out of Franklin Borough and Pequannock Township in the amount of $1,700. She was processed and released pending court dates in both towns.
