    April 25 At approximately 8:43 p.m. Officer Ryan Churchwell observed an individual pushing a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the shoulder of State Highway 23 Southbound. After a brief investigation, 37-year-old Mark N. Galambos of Hawthorne was arrested for driving while intoxicated after it was determined that he had been operating the motorcycle prior to it running out of gas. Galambos was subsequently charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath samples, driving while suspended, having an expired drivers license and for utilizing a helmet that is not approved by the Department of Transportation. He was subsequently released to a friend pending a Franklin Borough Municipal Court Appearance. Officer Churchwell was assisted by Officer Nevin Mattessich and Officers from the Hardyston Police Department. April 30 At approximately 11:54 p.m. Franklin Police arrested 20-year-old Bhadrikkumar H. Patel of Port Jervis, N. Y., after an officer observed him stop in the middle of State Highway 23 in the opposite lane of travel. After speaking with Patel an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected and after failing several field sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Patel was subsequently charged with DWI, maintenance of lamps, having a cracked windshield, failure to wear a seat belt, improper mirrors, delaying traffic, obstructing the passage of vehicles, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and littering. Patel was released to a friend pending a Franklin Borough Court Appearance. Officer Kevin Mattessich and Officer Ryan Churchwell investigated. April 29 At approximately 8:03 p.m., Franklin Police arrested 28-year-old John H. Duno of Hamburg after an officer observed that the commercial vehicle in which he was operating failed to display a business name and address on the vehicle. After speaking with him, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected and after failing several field sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Duno was subsequently charged with DWI, careless driving, failure to display name on a commercial vehicle, failure to exhibit an insurance card, failure to produce a registration card and failure to notify the Division of Motor Vehicles of an address change. Duno was later released to a family member pending a Franklin Municipal Court Appearance. Officer Nevin Mattessich and Officer Ryan Church well investigated.
