FRANKLIN POLICE

On Sept. 13 at approximately 7:48 p.m., Franklin Police responded to an apartment on Rutherford Avenue for the report of an individual violation a final restraining order. Upon arrival, the accused had left the area, but was later located on Main Street. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Hardyston resident Edwin Garcia-Mahlon, who was subsequently charged with violating a judicial order, fourth-degree, and criminal trespass, fourth-degree. He was later released pending a first appearance in Franklin Borough Municipal Court. Officer Ryan Churchwell investigated with assistance from Officer Jeffrey Korger.
