Domestic violence arrest on Route 23 On Friday, Sept. 4 at 3:56 a.m., Hamburg Police were dispatched to a reported assault that occurred on Route 23 in the vicinity of Doc’s Place. Investigation led to the arrest of Michael P. Fedder, 30, of Hamburg, for domestic violence offenses. He was transported to the Hamburg Police Station, where he was charged with simple assault, harassment, and criminal mischief. Fedder was released on his own recognizance pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Patrolman John Barrett investigated the incident, and was assisted by Patrolman Andrew Chase.
