    Oct. 8 At 8:44 p.m., a 200 Infiniti that was being operated by Anthony Cignarella, 60, of Hardyston, struck a guardrail on Wallkill Avenue near the intersection of Amers Boulevard. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest o fCigiiarella for driving while intoxicated and his vehicle being impounded under the provisions of John's Law. Cignarella was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, failure to maintain lane of travel and misuse of dealer plates. He was released from custody pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Detective George Gunderman investigated the incident, and was assisted by Sgt. David McNulty. Oct. 16 At 2:08 a.m. a 2001 Mitsubishi that was being operated by Bekim Asani, 40, of Hardyston, was stopped after being observed speeding and failing to keep right on Vernon Avenue. After a brief roadside investigation, Asani was arrested for driving while intoxicated and his behicle was impounded under the provisions of John's Law. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone, speeding, careless driving, failure to keep right, failure to maintain a lane, operating an uninsured vehicle and having an obstructed view. Asani was released from custody pending an appearance in the hamburg Municipal Court. Patrolman Daniel Faruggio investigated the incident. At 5:03 p.m., a 2010 Toyota that was being operated by Matthew J. Glading, 28, of Highland Lakes, was stopped on Vernon Avenue after he was observed using a hand held cell phone while driving and failing to maintain a lane. After a brief roadside investigation, Glading was arrested for driving while intoxicated and his vehicle was impounded under the provisions of John's Law. Several bags of marijuana were also located in his vehicle. Glading was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone, cell phone usage, failure to maintain lane, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana 50 grams or less, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from custody pending an appearance in the Hamburg Municipal Court. Sgt. Erik Aronson investigated the incident, and was assisted by Patrolman Robert Vander Ploeg.
