Lafayette — Mad Science, a provider of hands-on science activities for children, will appear at Miss Lisa’s Toys in Lafayette Village on Sunday, June 28 to show kids of all ages some fun experiments. The new owner of Mad Science of Morris & Sussex, long time Sparta resident Joe Pszonek, is excited about giving children the opportunity to touch, feel, and taste what science is really all about. “They can build robots, make potions and slime, and learn why airplanes fly and volcanoes erupt. Programs take place at schools, birthday parties, park and recreation departments, community centers, summer camps, corporate special events, and daycares across the counties,” Pszonek said. Summer camps are being offered in Lafayette Village, Vernon through the Vernon PAL, and Byram through the recreation department. Each camp runs for a half day for one week.
