About 1300 plastic eggs gave their lives Saturday at noon in support of the Ogdensburg First Aid Squad egg hunt on the playing field alongside the elementary school. In five separate waves, approximately 75 children overwhelmed the eggs in aggressive search and capture operations. No signs of egg survivors were found after the children retreated with their booty.
