Eleven members of the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church Youth Group hosted a Valentine’s Day Party for 24 developmentally disabled residents who live in local group homes sponsored by the Department for Persons with Disabilities, a Catholic Charities organization of the Diocese of Paterson. The youth group had planned activities and worked closely with the residents to create Valentine crafts, decorate heart-shaped cookies, play Heart Bingo and enjoy a Valentine’s snack. Youth group member Richard Tews entertained on his guitar.
