Hilltop Country Day School holds its annual recognition celebration

Margie Maneri, alumni parent and volunteer, and the Hilltop Student Councils from 2004-2009, which recently received the National Association of Student Councils National Gold Council of Excellence Award, were honored recently at Hilltops Country Day School’s Recognition Celebration. The event was held at Perona Farms in Andover. Faculty member, Maryanne Spence, upper school mathematics teacher, was recognized for her years of service to the school. In addition, the President’s Service Award was presented to students Jake Borchers, Lukas Cramer, Anthony Rizzo, Dominick Rizzo, Philip Stefani and Edward Tirpack. All of the students are members of the student council and must have completed at least 50 hours or more of volunteer service to receive the award. Their community service involved many different activities and organizations including working at the Sussex County Ecumenical Council food pantry, holding a blood drive, and collecting toys for Project Self-Sufficiency.
