HONOR

Anna Mae Schurko, R.N., of Hamburg, a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps, was one of the Grand Marshalls at the annual Veterans Day parade held Nov. 1 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. She has been writing to the president and members of Congress about bills that would grant veteran status to the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps, whose members seek recognition for their part in WWII and their contributions to the war effort.
