Examples include Liberty, Missouri and North Liberty, Iowa. 150 million: Number of hot dogs estimated to be eaten on July 4th during celebrations. $5.2 million: Amount of money to import American flags as of last count in 2004. Most of the flags are made in China. 50: Percent of America’s potatoes grown in either Idaho or Washington. Potatoes are common foods of July 4th celebrations, showing up in chips and salads.
