It's All about the game

The third annual Jim Wallace Basketball Camp, held in Ogdensburg, was the biggest ever with approximately 45 children attending. Event chairman Joe Byrne, volunteers and camp guests, working in coordination with the Ogdensburg Recreation Association, ran the four-day event July 23 through 26. “I like to encourage children to have fun and enjoy themselves,” said Byrne. He plays basketball for Nyack College and is studying education with a stress on mathematics. He has already filled in as a substitute teacher in Ogdensburg this past spring.
