Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice welcomes new volunteers

| 22 Feb 2012 | 08:22

The Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Volunteer Training recently graduated seven new volunteers who were required to attend a series of eight educational classes. They are now able to spend time with patients, reading to them, running errands, even playing poker — whatever the patient needs. Volunteers are also welcome to participate in agency fundraisers, administrative assistance and/or as a member of Friends of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. All volunteers have the option of working in their communities and establishing their own schedules with allowable services they are willing to provide for the organization.
