Kids contest for anti-alcohol abuse message

The Sussex County Coalition for Healthy & Safe Families, a program of the Center for Prevention & Counseling, is holding a contest for the best Public Service Announcement denouncing underage drinking. The contest aims to combat television shows, magazines, and music that can make drinking seem like it’s fun for kids. Create a poster, write an essay or create a video PSA highlighting the best message to convince friends and classmates to ignore peer pressure or anything that makes underage drinking seem cool. Winners will be featured in the local media. The deadline date for entries to be received is March 24.
