Learning about Careers

Fifth-grade teacher Jennifer McCarthy’s class at The Wantage School interviewed family members, friends and neighbors about their careers as part of American Education Week. The children were asked to find out information on jobs that might be of interest to them in the future. As part of the introduction to the lesson, New Jersey State Trooper John McCarthy, their teacher's husband, visited the classroom and spoke to the students about careers in law enforcement.
