Hamburg — Great Beginnings Children’s Learning Center in Hardyston has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals. “We are extremely proud to have earned the mark of quality from NAEYC and to be recognized for our commitment to reaching the highest professional standards,” said Great Beginnings Director Karen Rothstadt. “NAEYC Accreditation proves that children at Great Beginnings are receiving the best possible care and early learning experience.” Great Beginnings offers a diversity of programs tailored to meet the needs of the whole child at each stage of development, from infancy through kindergarten. The school is open year round, offering full-time, part-time, enrichment and summer programs. The facility is peanut and tree nut free and all teachers are certified in infant/child CPR and first aid. To earn accreditation, Great Beginnings underwent an extensive evaluation process, measuring its curriculum and services against 10 program standards and more than 400 related criteria. NAEYC assessors visited the site over a two-day period to ensure that the program meets all the requirements. Additionally, Great Beginnings is subject to unannounced visits during its accreditation period, which lasts for five years. Great Beginnings is located at 3501 Route 94 in Hardyston.
