200 Club names new executive board

    The 200 Club of Sussex County recently elected a new executive board and added new members to its board of trustees, announced outgoing president and chairman of the board Allen Langjahr.

    Tony Torre has been named The 200 Club’s new president and chairman of the board. Christopher Lynch remains as treasurer and Thomas Ryan has been elected board secretary. At the same time, new trustees were added to the board and include Robert Nicholson, Colleen Cunningham, Joseph Geraci and Lou Esposito.

    Torre is a local businessman and is the vice president of Business Development with Sussex Bank. Torre was the vice president/general manager of the New Jersey Cardinals professional baseball club from 1994 until 2005. Active in the community, Torre also holds the title of president with the Branchville Businessmen and board positions with the 4H Foundation, Saint Clare’s Advisory Board and represents Newton’s District 4 on the Republican Party of Sussex County, County Committee. Torre also served as chairman of the board for the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce in 2004 during his six-year term.

    Christopher Lynch is a senior partner with the local accounting firm, Nisivoccia, LLP. A known community leader, Lynch has previously served as the chairman of the board of trustees with Newton Memorial Hospital and was integral to revitalizing the 200 Club almost 11 years ago. Thomas Ryan is a noted attorney and managing senior partner with the firm Laddey, Clark & Ryan in Sparta.

    New members of the board of trustees are retired New Jersey State Trooper, Joseph Geraci; president of Eastern Propane, Robert Nicholson, Newton attorney Colleen Cunningham and local businessman with Jostens, Lou Esposito. Other members of the board of trustees include, Allen Langjahr, John Drake, Glen Vetrano, George Morville, Eskil Danielson, Megan Ward, Pat Aramini, Dr. Terrence Duddy, Michael Gaus, Robert McCracken and Robert McBriar.
