Photo by Gale Miko High Point held their Winter Festival on Sunday, Feb. 1, with activities for everyone. Nick Stefano gave a winter talk of activities in the area. Chris Panico of Wantage and a member of the Friends Group demonstrated the art of ice fishing on Lake Marcia. Secretary Roberta Bramhall showed children of all ages how to make natural bird feeders spreading peanut butter on bread cut into animal shapes and dipped in bird seed. Skip Van de Vaarst of Livingston, N.J., ledd the crowd in a sing-a-long as he played guitar. Groups were lead outside to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Upon their return to the interpretive center everyone was treated with hot soups, desserts, hot cocoa by the fire, story time and making smores.

PHOT From the minute Paul Kreczkowski of Wantage showed his fiancee Vivian a picture of Oliver the Goose she knew she wanted him in their wedding. On Mother's Day, the Kreczkowski's tied the knot at the Hampton Diner. Oliver had no problem walking the rings down the isle to the couple as their guests watched. When time came to exchange the rings, Oliver broke out into a happy dance to help the couple celebrate.
