Acme stores open in area

This weekend the Vernon Town Center's new Acme supermarket was up and running and the store’s parking lot and the store interior itself were quite crowded. From the outside. shopping cart storage sheds to the isle contents overhead signs, everything was clearly marked “Acme.” The store used to be A&P.
