Action Park opens for the season

Action Park opened last Saturday for the 2015 season. Helmets are required and supplied for riders on the Colorado River ride.

Even though the water was still on the cool side, there was a race up the hill to be the first ones on the rides. People waited at the entrance gates and when the 10:30 a.m. opening the season officially began.

Action Park visitors are shown emerging from the initial freefall of High Anxiety; clearly the most colorful of the parkþÄôs many rides and attractions.

Only the bravest attempt taking a leap of faith into the pool at the Canyon Cliffs. The water is 16 feet deep below the 23-foot high cliff.
VERNON — Mountain Creek's Action Park opened for the season on Saturday, even though the water in some of the attractions was still quite chilly.
The park will host Sussex County Day, where all residents receive free entry on Friday, June 26. They will also have the added option to purchase a season pass at the preseason rate
The park will be open weekends and holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through June 21. Starting on June 24, the Action Park will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
