WANTAGE — Saturday’s “Animalstock 2015” fundraiser was planned to have everything to thrill and amaze, including live music, barbecue, a bouncy house, vendors, tie-dye shirts, belly dancers and even skydivers. Even up until the last hour, Karyn Pirl of Wantage-based Safe and Sound Animal Rescue had hoped that the rain would not spoil her big day to raise funds at the Sussex Elks Lodge. Those who did attend were forced inside for the day. To learn more about the rescue group and make a donation, go to safeandsoundrescue.org or call Karyn at 862-268-6755. The organization is a New Jersey nonprofit that is in need of foster and forever homes for animals in need.
