Board of Education displays artwork

VERNON — Work by Mrs. Docherty’s art students from Walnut Ridge Primary School in Vernon was recently on display at the Vernon Township Board of Education office.
The pieces were created by the children in Mrs. Vitone’s kindergarten/first grade class. Students worked with a variety of art mediums and techniques including tempera paint, watercolor, collage, printmaking and weaving, developing their technical skills as well as their original artistic voices. Posing in front of the exhibit on a special visit to the Board of Education office is Jacob, Thomas, Kristian and Juan.
