Boating class to be offered in Augusta

    New Jersey Boating Safety Classes will over a Boat N.J. class in Augusta on Feb. 9.

    The course meets the needs of boaters and personal watercraft operators for a basic overview of boat and PWC operation. The boating safety class is required by the state of New Jersey — Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement for boat safety education and is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.

    The course meets the N.J. State law requirements for N.J. boating safety certification. There will be a $75 fee which covers the cost of the course and all materials.

    The course will be held at the Tri-Co Federal Credit Union, 47 Route 206 Suite 1, Augusta, NJ 07122. The class will be held from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
