Discovery Years celebrates 100th day

VERNON — Discovery Years Center For Early Childhood Education is celebrating its 100th day of preschool.

Each child took $1 (100 pennies) and bought a can of cat food to donate to the Vernon Animal Shelter.

Officials at the school said there are plans to do something similar every year to mark the 100th day of the year.
