Elks, Antlers attend leadership conference

SUSSEX BOROUGH — Sussex Elks Lodge 2288 and its youth group, Antlers No. 5, recently attended the 27th Annual New Jersey State Elks Peer Leadership Conference over three days in Long Branch.
This year's theme was "Elks And Youth: Launching A New Era in Leadership."
The event gathered more than 350 high school students from throughout New Jersey. This program is designed to develop to the fullest potential the leadership skills students to improve self-confidence and build self-esteem in themselves, their peers and their communities.
