Friends of the Library plan spring book sale

| 09 Apr 2018 | 04:00

The Friends of the Sussex-Wantage Library will hold their spring used book sale on Friday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $3 bag sale will be held on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
Thousands of adult and children’s books, audio books, DVDs, and CDs will be available at bargain prices. A “specials” room will feature unique and collectible books at slightly higher prices. Customers are encouraged to bring their own grocery store-sized recyclable bags to the sale.
Funds raised at the book sale are used to pay for community programs and special items to enhance the Sussex-Wantage Library. The book sale also encourages reading and provides the community with inexpensive reading material for all ages.
Donations for the sale may be dropped off from Saturday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 25, during regular library hours. Library staff welcomes donations of the following items in good condition: children’s and adult books (paperback and hardcover); DVDs; audiobooks; music CDs and cassettes. The library cannot accept: videos without covers, encyclopedias, textbooks, condensed books, magazines, or any items in poor condition. Pack your donations in small boxes or double-strength grocery bags.
For further information, please call the library at 973-875-3940 or visit the Friends’ website friendsofswlibrary.org.
