Friends of the librayr plan annual meeting

VERNON — The Friends of the Library, Dorothy Henry Branch, will host their Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 9, at 2:15 p.m.
All members, non-members, and soon to be members are welcome. A brief business meeting will open the afternoon activities. Then, the family of the year will be introduced and honored following by the presentation of the Steven Steele Memorial Book Scholarship. The recipient will read the essay and speak briefly about their aspirations.
Walter Choroszewski, a New Jersey Photography, will show a side and lecture presentation of “Roadside America”.
The meeting will be held in the Community room of the library on Route 94 in Vernon. The program is suitable for teens to adults with free admission and a reception to follow.
