The Tobin family of Highland Lakes once again won top prizes for their original costumes created by their mother, Kerry, who also appears professionally as Pixie Pop the Clown. Sebastian, 3, won first place overall for his little robot costume and his brother Ozzie, 8, won second place overall for his dragon costume.

The winner of the most original costume went to Scott Percarpio, 7, of Stanhope for the depiction of the Titanic and its captain.

About 80 children competed in Heaven Hill Farm’s annual costume contest.

Dressed as a cowgirl with her faithful horse Maximus, Heaven Hill Farm employee Lisa Albertini, 21, of Vernon helped corral the contestants for the judges to evaluate.

Abigail Bonnema, 8, and Hamburg won for her Monster High Girl costume.
