Heaven Hill Farm plans Great Pumpkin festival

VERNON — Squash those end-of-summer blues, and pick a bountiful harvest of fun at Heaven Hill Farm’s Great Pumpkin Festival.
Heaven Hill Farm has fall decorating Mums, fall [lanting, corn stalks scarecrows, and gift shop. There will be pumpkin picking on Sept. 19 through Nov. 8. The farm is open Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday fand Sunday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Pumpkin picking will feature hayrides to the pumpkin patch and fall festivities, such as the corn maze, maize quest games, pig races, farm animals, carnival rides, farm animals and more.
