High Pointe Dance under new management by Synergy

Synergy Dance Company of Hampton announces they will be taking over both artistic and business management of High Pointe Dance, 1 Church St., Sussex as a second location.

The new manager is Kerri Ford-Burns and teachers include Becki Ford-McQuade, Heather Benson-Stanley, Alex McEvoy, Amy Ricciardi, Jeanelle LeMay, Jonathon Dragon, Palmira Huber and Cheyenne Wagner.

Synergy Dance Company in Hampton is beginning their sixth year in business. Their SDC Troupe performed at Walt Disney World this past April.

The new Synergy at High Pointe Dance will add to the 37 year history of dance education in Sussex Boro. It was established in 1976 by Charlene Libby, became Sussex Dance Academy in 1980, then High Pointe Dance in 1994.

The curriculum will include: Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Acro, Kinderdance and Theater for students of all ages along with Zumba for adults.

Summer dance camps begin in July and include an American Girl Camp for ages four to nine, a Dance Intensive Camp for the more serious dancer ages 10 and up, and Acting Camp for ages eight to 13.
