Literacy Volunteers to host Scrabble Scrimmage

    Literacy Volunteers of Sussex County willhave its annaul Scrabble Scrimmage on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Administration Building of the Sussex County Fairgrounds.

    Refreshments will be available.

    The event is promoted as the game “where every letter counts." For adults in need of literacy skills, each letter is essential to improving their lives and the lives of their families – economically, financially, socially, and emotionally.

    The top three scorers each win a prize. Participants receive ten tickets toward winning other prizes. Many local businesses donate items or gift certificates yearly to help support LVSC and this event.
