WANTAGE — The Lusscroft Farm held a maple syrup sugaring event on Saturday.
There were ongoing demonstrations on how to tap trees, collect sap and operate the evaporator. Fresh maple syrup was available for purchase.
Revenue from the maple sugaring operation benefits the ongoing maintenance of the sugar house and supports the upkeep of Lusscroft Farm, part of High Point State Park.
