Math students at Vernon Township High School have once again toppled every other county high school in the annual Math League Contests, scoring 126 out of a possible 180 points.
Over the course of the 2016-2017 school year, high school students around the county have competed for their schools in a series of six tests with six questions each. Only the top five scorers in each contest contribute to their school’s point total.
Vernon High School students who contributed points include lead scorer senior Ethan Kolonoski; Daniel McKeon, a sophomore, earned a perfect score in contest #5. Other contributors were seniors Tyler Ruiz, Connor Senor, Christopher Ploch, Dylan Scheidle and Alexis Margroff, juniors Ryan Eilinger, Melissa Lancellotti, and Christine Birkland, sophomore Peter Fetz and freshmen Jacob Burrman, Desiree Fedele, and Johan Kotkin.
