Odor causes Rolling Hills school to be evacuated

VERNON — Rolling Hills Middle School was evacuated on Friday, Feb. 21, after a report that a strange odor caused a building aide to feel sick.
Police saidd the school was evacuated as a precautionary measure. Students were moved to a safe location without incident. The Vernon, McAfee, and Highland Lakes fire departments responded and determined the building to be safe.
The aide was transported by Vernon Twp. Ambulance to St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick for evaluation.
