VERNON — Vernon children's author Leesa Beckmann and her pet Sebastopol goose, Oliver, celebrated the first day of spring with a visit to McAfee's Dorothy Henry branch of the Sussex County Library System.
More than 50 gathered in the library's special purpose room to hear a reading of Beckmann's latest book, "You Can't Potty Train a Goose."
