Project Self-Sufficiency offers free seminar onaviation careers
NEWTON — A free seminar about careers in the exciting field of aviation will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Damian Delgaizo, owner of Andover Flight Academy, will be joined by Kurt Lutz of Robinson Aerial Surveys, and Air Force Technical Sergeant Ryan Smith for a discussion of the background, education requirements and the tasks that accompany their unique professions.
Questions from the audience will be welcome.
“Becoming You: Aviation Careers” will touch on jobs like pilot, flight instructor and aircraft maintenance technician, as well as options for careers in the military and with commercial airlines. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 to register.
