Project Self-Sufficiency offers free writing career seminars

    NEWTON — A free seminar about writing careers will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6:30–8 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency.

    New Jersey Herald reporter Jessica Masulli Reyes will be joined by poet Jean LeBlanc and published author and business consultant Donna Price for a discussion of the background, education requirements, and the tasks that accompany their unique professions.

    Questions from the audience will be welcome.

    “Becoming You: Writing Careers” will touch on jobs like reporter, author, and poet, and offer tips for getting work published. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required.
