SCCC to host Allied Health information sessions

Sussex County Community College will host a series of Allied Health Information Sessions this summer for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare field.
The sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room A207 of the Health Sciences & Performing Arts Center on June 25, July 23 and Aug. 13.
College representatives will provide information about SCCC’s Allied Health academic and certification programs and answer questions from prospective students.
Programs highlighted during the sessions will include the accredited Health Science degree program, Medical Assistant certificate, Patient Care Technician certificate, Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate of Achievement, and certification courses in Electrocardiography and Cardiac Monitoring Technician, and Phlebotomy and Specimen Collection Technician.
Participants also will have an opportunity to tour the college’s training facilities and receive guidance about enrolling in classes for the fall semester.
