The Sussex County Horse Show is conducting a shoe drive through June 24 to raise funds for improvements to the horse show.
The show will earn funds based on the total weight of the gently worn, used and new shoes collected from Funds2Orgs.
Shoes may be donated at the Fairgrounds Administration Building and Show Office as well as Dutchess Bridle and Saddle, Equitique and Outlaw Outfitters.
Special drop-off times are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, May 20 and June 3 at the fairgrounds.
All donated shoes will be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise (small business) partners. Proceeds from sales of the shoes are used to feed, clothe and house their families.
