The Sparta Education Foundation (SEF) has launched a new website at spartaeducationfoundation.org.

Allowing for easier page navigation, the new site includes an updated layout, feature photos from its most recent events, a blog and thorough information on the organization’s background and its mission.

“We are especially appreciative of Doreen Julye and the staff of Contemporary Media Group in Sparta for their assistance in creating this valuable resource for the SEF,” said Donna West, SEF president. “We are excited that those looking for additional information on our mission can easily find what they are looking for now. The Contemporary Media Group did a fantastic job in helping us freshen up our site.”

Visitors to the new and improved site will find an easy to locate donation button, information on how to become involved with the SEF, descriptions of past grants, and photo galleries of previous events like the Turkey Trot and Dragon Boat Festival. A blog with guest bloggers will regularly contribute new content, including the first blog post from Patrick McQueeney, Interim Superintendent of Schools.

Since 2006, the Sparta Education Foundation has funded over $1,133,899 in grants to all five of Sparta’s public schools. The Foundation is all-volunteer, independent, nonprofit corporation whose mission is to engage the entire community in philanthropic giving. Visit spartaeducationfoundation.org for more information about joining or volunteering.
