    Nicholas J. Milazzo, 19, of Wantage pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of distrubtion of a controlled dangerous substance and to the fourth-degree crime of resisting arrest.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 7.

    He admitted to distributing seven bags of heroin in Hamburg on Nov. 19, 2013. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. He also admitted that on Nov. 19, 2013, in Wantage he tried to flee members of the Sheriff’s Department in order to avoid arrest.

    Jan. 21
    William M. Stevenfield, 50, of Budd Lake, N.J. pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a crime of the third-degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 4.

    In pleading guilty, Stevenfield admitted to purchasing three bags of heroin on Oct. 30, 2013, in Stanhope.

    Benjamin P. Averill, 20, of Sparta pleaded guilty to burglary, a crime of the third-degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 21.

    In pleading guilty, Averill admitted to illegally entering a residence in Sparta on Aug. 26, 2012, with the intention of taking items from the home.

    Jan. 24
    Corey Vanhorn, 35, of Sussex, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burlary and three counts of burglary, all crimes of the third degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for March 4.

    In pleading guilty, Vanhorn admitted to illegally entering several residences in Sussex Borough and Wantage Township between July 19, 2012, and July 21, 2012, taking property from some of the homes.
