More than 40 seniors were inducted into the Sussex County Technical School's chapter of the National Technical Honor Society.

Students were selected based upon their academic achievement in their technical programs at Sussex Tech over the past 3 1/2 years. These students were excited and proud to be recognized for their individual achievement in their shop programs. Career Technical instructors were enthusiastic to recommend students to this honor society so they received the recognition they deserved. More 85 people attended the candle ceremony held in McNeice Auditorium which included members of the Board of Education, Administration, faculty, and parents.

During the ceremony, individual students described the seven characteristics that membership into NTHS is based upon: leadership, scholarship, skills, honesty, citizenship, service and responsibility.
