WANTAGE — The Sussex-Wantage Library held their Fizz, Boom, Read-Grossology program on Monday.
Children heard a story about a Farting Dog, held an experiment feeding pudding to someone while wearing a blindfold and then making Gooey Gunk. That is a non-Newtonian fluid, not a solid and not a liquid made from cornstarch, water and food color.
Everyone got to take some home and received a geode rock and science pamphlet's. This was part of the libraries' summer-reading program. Diane Sabastian with the Sussex County Library System read the story and conducted the experiments with the children.
