Taste of Vernon to return Monday

The Taste of Vernon returns on Monday, April 30, from 6-9 p.m., at Heaven Hill Farm for the third consecutive year.
Hosted by the Vernon Chamber of Commerce, this event benefits three local initiatives that impact Vernon and the surrounding areas. No food lover should miss
fresh culinary samples from eateries such as ACME, Dairy Swirl, Lamp Post Inn, The George Inn, and Smokey’s Brick Oven Tavern, Drunken Cherry Restaurant, Healthy Thymes Market, Vernon Deli, Cupcake Café, Eddie’s Roadhouse and more. Wine tasting is also available courtesy of Baltic Wines. Back by popular demand, these local eateries will vie for “Best Presentation” & “People’s Choice” Awards as voted on by guests. Two new categories have been added for 2018; Best Entrée and Best Dessert.
While foodies enjoy the tasting selections, they can bid on a wide range of Silent Auction items including custom Gift Baskets, Treescape experience, Zip Tours, Great Gorge Golf Foursome, Minerals Spa one year membership, Sussex County Miners Super Pack and so much more. This year’s proceeds support the year-round efforts of the Vernon PAL, the Vernon Woman’s Club and the Vernon Coalition—all 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations that are volunteer driven and community supported.
