AUGUSTA — Neither below-freezing temperatures nor snow could dampen spirits at the 11th annual United Way Chili Open Golf Classic on Jan. 25 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
The one-of-a-kind, family-friendly golf event and chili sampling fest in Sussex County combined a spirited 36-hole golf outing with the serious work of raising money to support Sussex County families struggling to make ends meet.
United Way of Northern New Jersey partners with the Sussex County Rotary Clubs for this annual event, which is the kickoff social event of the year with more than 120 golfers participating.
