Universal Health Fair planned in Newton

| 18 Jun 2015 | 03:56

The Tree of Health Center, located in Newton, is launching its first fundraiser in support of their Universal Children’s Trust Fund.

This fund will be used to assist community schools by introducing creative new programs that will benefit youth, work with schools to deal with stress reduction for students and staff, and encourage peak performance.

The fair will focus on health, wellness and cultures from around the world, giving individuals in the community an opportunity to experience one of a kind healing practice. This event will bring together our community to educate, inform, and begin to rediscover our inner selves.

The Universal Health Fair is currently in the early planning stage and is seeking vendors and sponsors to participate with this event. It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, from 11 a.m.– 6 p.m., rain or shine.

Vendors of all types: food, snack, craft, retail, wellness and nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply.

Applications are available online at www.vendor-finders.com and www.sotafoundation.org or by emailing sandy@sotafoundation.org. Performers, drummers, belly dancers, and other ethnic enhanced talent are invited to perform.
