Vernon dog-license renewals due soon

VERNON — Dog licenses in the township must be renewed by Jan. 31.

All dogs must be licensed by the time they are 7 months old and have a current metal registration toag securely fastened to a collar or harness.

Licenses are good for one year.

License renewal applications are not mailed to homes, but are available for download from www.vernontwp.com, on the dog-licenses page where residents also will find fee information and rabies vaccination requirements.
