Vernon woman's club to host dinner fundraiser

VERNON — The GFWC Vernon Township Woman's Club, in conjunction with The George Inn, will host a fundraising night on Thursday, Feb. 13.

For all customers who dine at The George Inn that evening between 6 and 10 p.m., the restaurant will donate a percentage of the each party’s food bill to the Woman's Club.

"Anyone can donate simply by eating out!” Woman's Club President Kyle Brandt said. "Come out and enjoy a wonderful dinner at the George Inn. Every penny raised from this event will support our club's philanthropic activities, including our scholarships for local students, food and clothing for victims of domestic abuse, and birthday gifts for nursing home residents.
