Vintage cars on display during open house

VERNON — Vintage cars from the Wanderers Car Club will be on display at the Vernon Township Historical Society open house on Sunday, July 3, from 1-4 p.m.
The cars are owned by Vernon residents who belong to the club.
Some of the cars include a 1966 Ford Mustang, a 1931 Ford Phaeton, a 1964 Chevy Impala Convertible, a 1956 Chevy Belair and a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS Convertible.
The historical society’s museum at 293 Route 94 where the cars will be on display is open the first Sunday of every month for an open house. Admission is free. The museum houses the township’s archives and records. On display are also many artifacts and photographs from the township dating back to the 1700s.
In addition to the open houses on the first Sunday of every month, the museum is also by appointment and available for group tours. Call 973-764-6545 for information.
