Juniors studying U.S. history at Vernon Township High School spent a day tracing some of the footsteps of freedom with a visit to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The story of immigrants is the story of America and students were grateful to view history through the eyes of those seeking liberty, freedom and opportunity.
